Nine, including eight Indians, injured as bridge collapses in Jajarkot An under-construction Bailey bridge on Bheri River at Tallubagar of Jajarkot collapsed about a month ago.

KATHMANDU: Nine workers were injured when an under-construction Bailey bridge being built over the Bheri River in Jajarkot district collapsed on Thursday.

Ram Kumar Mahato, CDO of Jajarkot told Himal Press over the phone that, nine workers who were injured in the accident have been receiving treatment at Nalgad Town Hospital. “Eight of the injured are Indian nationals,” he added.

The bridge was being built to connect Tallubagar in Nalgad Municipality-12 of Jajarkot with Gaotamekot in Rukum West.

The incident happened when a crane was working on the bridge.
