KATHMANDU: Pure Energy Pvt Ltd has started trial generation of 10 MW of electricity from its solar power plant in Raniapur of Khajura Rural Municipality-10 of Banke.
According to REnergo Developers, one of the promoters of Pure Energy Pvt Ltd, the plant has started trial generation from Thursday.
Shubham Gupta, country head of REnergo Developers, said that construction of another solar power plant with a capacity of 10 MW in Raniapur is in the final stage.
“We have successfully connected the electricity generated by the plant to the Kohalpur substation of Nepal Electricity Authority through a 33 kV transmission line,” Gupta added
Pure Energy Pvt Ltd has invested Rs 1 billion each in the two plants. It is a joint venture of Golyan Group of Nepal and REnergo Developers of India
