KATHMANDU: One more Nepali youth has died while serving in the Russian army.
Sonu Sunar of Kathebar in Pyuthan Municipality-4 of Pyuthan district died in Russia recently. According to Bishnu Bahadur Yogi, the mayor of Pyuthan Municipality, Sunar had left for Russia a few months ago. “He had departed for Russia two to three months ago. More details will come after we meet his family on Friday,” Yogi stated.
Yogi told Himal Press over the phone that Sunar had traveled to Russia via Qatar.
With this death, the number of Nepalis losing their lives while serving in the Russian army has now reached 12.
