KATHMANDU: The District Administration Office, Kavre, has enforced a month-long nighttime ban on traffic along the BP Highway, citing increased monsoon-related hazards.
Issuing a public notice on Friday, the local administration announced that vehicular movement on the highway will be restricted between 6:30 pm and 5:00 am every day for a month starting July 6.
The ban applies to all vehicles traveling toward Sindhuli via Kavrebhanjyang and Bhakundebesi during the specified hours.
A similar 15-day restriction had been in effect beginning June 20.
