KATHMANDU: Two individuals, including a ward member, died in a tractor accident in Bhojpur district on Saturday night.
According to the District Police Office, Bhojpur, the deceased have been identified as Nira Prasa Phuyal (52), a ward member of Bhojpur-5, and Bhakta Bahadur Thapa (55) of Bhojpur-5.
The tractor, which was carrying fertilizers from Bokhim in Bhojpur-5, met with an accident at Setibagar in Bhhojpur-3.
Police have taken the tractor driver into custody for investigation.
