MUGU: Two persons died and four others were injured in a road accident in Mugu on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when a jeep heading towards Sorukot of Soru Rural Municipality from Gamgadhi fell some 100 meters off the road at Soru-6. One of the deceased has been identified as jeep driver Kabiraj Nepali while the identity of another deceased, who is a woman, has not been ascertained yet, Birenra Thapa, chief of the District Police office, Mugu.
The injured have been identified as Manjane Nepali, Sarjan Nepali, Hirading Nepali and Prem Nepali. Of the injured, the condition of Manjane is reported to be critical.
The injured have been taken to Mugu District Hospital for treatment.
