KATHMANDU: Three members from the private sector have been appointed to the Executive Committee of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
A cabinet meeting held on Thursday appointed Rishi Ram Bhandari, Rajendra Lama, and Ram Prasad Sapkota to the position. All three are trekking entrepreneurs.
The positions in the Executive Committee had been vacant after Chandra Prasad Rijal, Ngawa Ngima Sherpa, and Krishna Kumar Shah completed their terms.
The 11-member Executive Committee of the NTB comprises five members from each the government and the private sector, with the CEO serving as the Member-Secretary.
