Tamu Lhosar Celeberations in Katmandu [In Pictures]

KATHMANDU: The Gurung people across the country are celebrating the Tamu Lhosar festival with great fanfare and rejoicing across the country.

A colorful procession was taken out in Kathmandu early Sunday morning by different associations of Gurung people. The procession began from Basantapur and passed through New Road Gate, Ratna Park, Bhadrakali and Sundhara before culminating in a gathering at Tundikhel.

This year, Gurung people are bidding adieu to the year of cat and welcoming the year of eagle.
