KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front has decided to form a task force to document and review recent political developments as well as the front’s past activities.
The decision was made during the meeting of the front held on Tuesday at the party office of CPN (Unified Socialist) in Aloknagar. The task force will consist of four members and has been given 15 days to submit its report.
The meeting also reviewed recent political events and expressed concern about potential threats to the country’s progressive journey and possible attacks on past achievements.
According to CPN leader Khadga Bishwokarma, the meeting decided to initiate efforts to bring other progressive communist factions, as well as Upendra Yadav and Mohan Bikram Singh, into the front.
The Socialist Front currently includes CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand, and Nepal Socialist Party led by Mahendra Ray Yadav.
