KATHMANDU: Six people died in a jeep accident in Panchthar district on Saturday. Six others were injured in the incident.
According to District Police Office, Panchthar, the accident occurred at Kattike along the Tamor Corridor road in Kummayak Rural Municipality–3.
The identity of the deceased has not been established.
Spokesperson for the Koshi Province Police Office, SSP Deepak Pokharel, said the jeep headed to Itahari from Taplejung met with an accident at around 1:30 pm.
The injured have been brought to Dharan for treatment.
