ITAHARI: Police have made two more arrests for investigation into the murder of a 28-year-old youth near Seuti Bridge on the Dharan-Itahari road a fortnight ago.
Rishi Ram Kandel, information officer of Koshi Province Police Office, Biratnagar, said police arrested Prakash Limbu (30) of Bhadrapur-1 of Jhapa and Ajaya Kumar Sharma of Biratnagar-15 of Morang.
An unidentified gang had shot dead Rohit Chaudhary of Birtnagar-5 on July 21.
According to police, Sharma is involved in the illegal trade of weapons and was released four months ago after serving a 56-month jail term in a drug abuse case.
Earlier, police arrested Deepak Timilsina (35) of Letang-1 of Morang and Ansan Tamang (34) of Dharan-14 of Sunari.
