Sampang padlocks chamber of BPKIHS Vice Chancellor

ITAHARI: Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang has padlocked the chamber of Pralhad Karki, the Vice Chancellor of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), by padlocking his chamber.

Sampang reached BPKIHS premises on his motorbike on Monday afternoon and padlocked the chamber stating that Karki chose to remain on leave rather than address the demands of teachers and students at the medical school.

He also warned BPKIHS staffers not not open the padlock.

Writing a post on his official Facebook page, Sampang asked Karki to find a way out or step down. “Otherwise, we will force you out. Don’t forget the name,” he said.
