RSP President Lamichhane leaving for India today

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Ravi Lamichhane is leaving on a five-day visit to India on Monday.

Lamichhane will undertake a visit to India from June 1 to June 5 at the invitation of Nitin Navin, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), an RSP statement said. Lamichhane will hold high-level political and diplomatic meetings in New Delhi. He is also scheduled to meet and hold discussions with BJP leaders.

Likewise, he is scheduled to meet members of the Nepali community and supporters of the party residing in India, as well as visit Ayodhya.

Lamichhane will be accompanied by RSP Joint General Secretary and House of Representatives member Bipin Kumar Acharya, Secretariat member and lawmaker Deepak Bohora, Nikita Poudel and Pradeep Acharya.

According to the statement, the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi is preparing for Lamichhane’s high-level meetings.
