KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has urged Prime Minister Balendra Shah to mobilize all state mechanisms for the search, rescue and relief of people affected by the disaster caused by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
During a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Shah on Wednesday evening, President Paudel sought information about the loss of lives and property caused by the Bhotekoshi floods and urged him to mobilize all state agencies to expedite search, rescue and relief efforts for those affected, according to Kiran Pokharel, the president’s press adviser.
Prime Minister Shah briefed the president on the loss of lives and property caused by the floods and said the government would mobilize all state mechanisms and make every possible effort to provide assistance, rescue and relief to the affected people, Pokharel said.
