President Poudel admitted to Gangalal

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has been admitted to Gangalal Heart Center after he complained of chest pain.

A source at the Office of the President said President Poudel was rushed to the specialist heart facility at around 11 am. A team led by Dr Chandra Mani Adhikari, director of Gangalal Heart Center, is attending to the President, the source added.

President Poudel will be kept under observation at the hospital on Tuesday. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow, the source told Himal Press.

Poudel returned to Nepal after receiving health treatment in India on May 1.
