PM Dahal to visit Italy

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is leaving for Italy next week.

The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday approved his visit.

Dahal is scheduled to lead a delegation to the 2023 UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment to be held in Rome on July 26-24. The event is being hosted by Italy, in collaboration with the Rome-based UN Agencies (FAO, IFAD, WFP), the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub and the wider UN system.

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Beduram Bhusal, will also be in the delegation, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Communication, Information and Technology, Rekha Sharma.
