KATHMANDU: Petroleum prices have been revised yet again.
Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decided to increase the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter and diesel/kerosene by Rs 3 per liter.
“A meeting of the board of directors of the NOC took the decision on Wednesday. The new prices will come into effect from Wednesday midnight,” NOC said in a statement on Wednesday evening.
After this fresh price revision, petrol will cost Rs 165 per liter in Kathmandu and other major cities, while diesel/kerosene will retail for Rs 156 per liter.
NOC has kept the prices of aviation turbine fuel and liquefied petroleum gas unchanged.
Earlier on December 31, the NOC raised the price of petrol by Re 1 and diesel/kerosene by Rs 2 per liter.
