Performance Art to raise awareness against GBV [In Pictures]

KATHMANDU: A ‘performance art’ was organized at Kastamandap in Kathmandu Durbar Square on Sunday to raise awareness against gender-based violence.

The exhibition was a part of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. It was organized by the Federation of Community Forest Users Nepal in coordination with Abha for Creativity.

The 16-day activism against gender-based violence kicked off throughout the world on Saturday.

Although Nepal has been participating in activism since 1997, the cabinet in 2018 decided to celebrate November 25 as the Day for 16-day activism against gender-based violence.
