KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has lowered the prices of petroleum products by Rs 3 per liter.
Issuing a press statement on Friday, the state-owned petroleum monopolist said that prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene will come down by Rs 3 per liter from Friday midnight.
The decision means petrol will be available for Rs 178 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will retail for Rs 175 per liter each.
NOC, however, has kept the prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) unchanged at Rs 190 per liter for domestic airlines and $1.645 for international carriers. Likewise, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remains the same at Rs 1,800 per liter.
NOC lowered the prices stating that its procurement prices have come down as per the latest rate forwarded by its sole supplier – Indian Oil Corporation.
