KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has transferred nine district and high court judges

The meeting of the Council held on Tuesday decided to transfer three high court judges and six district court judges. Likewise, three district judges have been sent on deputation to other districts.

Rameshwar Regmi has been transferred from Surkhet High Court to Patan Court, while Kaji Bahadur Rai of Surkhet High Court has been assigned new responsibilities at Biratnagar High Court. Similarly, Bishnu Prasad Aryal has been transferred from the Butwal bench of Tulsipur High Court to Tulsipur High Court.

Likewise, Rishiram Acharya has been transferred from Kaski District Court to Lalitpur District Court, Hari Prasad Koirala from Sunsari District Court to Kaski District Court, and Abani Mainali Bhattarai from Kaski District Court to Makwanpur District Court. Similarly, Pramesh Pokharel has been transferred from Tarhathum District Court to Parsa District Court, Tej Bahadur Khadka from Rautahat District Court to Jhapa District Court, and Bim Niraula from Jhapa District Court to Nawalparasi (East) District Court.

According to the Council, District Judge Dayaram Dhakal has been sent on deputation to Chitwan from Dadeldhura, Baburam Subedi to Morang from Nawalparasi (East), and Kul Prasad Pandey from Nawalparasi (East) to Dang.
