NIFRA donates Rs 5 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health

KATHMANDU: Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has donated Rs 5 million to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.

NIFRA CEO Krishna Bahadur Adhikari handed over a check for the amount to KOICH Chairperson Dr Bhagwan Koirala amid a ceremony on Sunday, according to a statement issued by NIFRA on Sunday.

NIFRA Deputy General Managers Surya Bahadur Tamang and Binay Nath Neupane, as well as representatives from KIOCH including Bhuvan Dahal were present on the occasion.

The donated funds will be used for the construction of infrastructure at a children’s hospital being built by KIOCH in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. This hospital aims to provide specialized services for children’s treatment.
