
KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to face the Netherlands in the final match of the Scotland tri-series of the ICC Cricket World Cup League (WCL) 2 in Dundee, Scotland, on Tuesday afternoon.
Nepal won the first match of the tri-series against the Netherlands by five wickets. In its two matches against Scotland, Nepal secured a thrilling one-wicket victory with one ball remaining in the first game but suffered a two-run defeat in the second.
The Netherlands, however, has remained winless in the series so far.
The two teams have faced each other six times in ODIs, with each side winning three matches.
In the WCL-2 points table, Nepal ranks seventh among eight teams with 10 points from 15 matches, while the Netherlands holds second place with 26 points from 22 matches.
Following the WCL-2 tri-series, the three teams are also scheduled to play two T20 matches against each other.
