Nepal defeats Bhutan 1-0 in SAAF U-19 Women’s Football

KATHMANDU: Nepal defeated Bhutan 1-0 in the 2024 SAAF U-19 Football Championship at the BSSSMK in Dhaka on Sunday.

Senu Pariyar scored in the second half of the match to get all three points for Nepal.

Nepal had conceded a 1-3 defeat against Bangladesh in its first match of the championship, while India had humiliated Bhunta 10-0.

Nepal, India and Bangladesh all have three points although Nepal has played one more game.

India and Bangladesh are playing against each other later on Sunday.

The two best teams from the league stage will qualify for the final.
