Nepal Army’s Higher Command and Management Course concludes

KATHMANDU: The Higher Command and Management Course, conducted at the Nepal Army War College, successfully concluded on Monday.

A total of 33 Nepal Army colonels, including one woman, participated in the training which began on March 15.

Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma presented certificates to the participants at the closing ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma extended his congratulations to the participants and highlighted the significance of the training in enhancing their professionalism. “The training will empower you to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted by strategic leaders and guide lower-level commanders on the path to success,” he added.

High-ranking officials of the Nepal Army were present in the concluding ceremony.

Colonel Basanta Bahadur Gautam was recognized as the Best Student Officer, while Colonels Subash KC and Basanta Bahadur Gautam received accolades for presenting the best individual research papers.

The Higher Command and Management Course is the highest-level training program for Nepal Army officers. To date, 305 officers, including 10 women, have completed this course, further enhancing their leadership and management skills.
