Nepal Army Wives Association organizes free health camp in Kanchanpur

KATHMANDU: Nepali Army Wives Association Monday organized a free health camp at Shivashankar Basic School at Kasba in Laljhadi-2 of Kanchanpur district.

The health camp was organized in coordination and cooperation with the No. 25 Battalion of the Nepal Army, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.

Doctors of Mahakali Zonal Hospital and the Nepal Army conducted health checkups of the local people. Altogether 642 individuals benefited from the camp. The health camp provided services related to dermatology, gynecology, pediatric and general medicine, according to the statement.

“On the occasion, president of the association, Sunita Sharma, handed over nine personal computers, three printer cum photocopiers, three projectors, furniture and stationery items to Shivashankar Basic School, Janachetana Basic School and Navodaya Basic School,” the statement added.

The association also provided warm blankets, mattresses, wheelchairs etc to senior citizens and differently-abled persons of Laljhandi Rural Municipality.
