NCC India delegation meets CoAS Sharma

KATHMANDU: A delegation from the National Cadet Corps (NCC), India, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma on Tuesday.

The 16-member NCC India delegation is in Nepal to participate in a Youth Exchange Program (YEP) with the National Cadet Corps, Nepal.

According to a statement issued by the Nepal Army, the NCC India delegation expressed gratitude to the Nepal Army for the opportunity to participate in the YEP.

During the meeting, the NCC members also shared their experiences of participating in the YEP.

NCC Nepal was established in the 1960s. So far, 66,776 individuals have participated in NCC training.
