Mugu killings: Police arrest one suspect

SURKHET: Police have arrested an individual for an investigation into the death of four persons from a family in Mandu, Mugu Chhayanath-6 of Mugu.

The identity of the arrested individual has not been revealed. The arrest was made in Gamgadhi, the district headquarters of Mugu.

DSP Birendra Thapa, the chief of the District Police Office in Mugu, confirmed the arrest. “The investigation is now nearing its conclusion. We are very close to finding the murderer,” he added.

Shreedevi Bohora (28), her sons Manoj (11) and Rahar (1), and daughter Apsara (8) were found dead in their home a few days ago. Police say they were murdered using a sharp object.
