Lekhak nominated NC’s chief whip

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has nominated Ramesh Lekhak as its main whip in the House of Representatives.

According to a statement issued by the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, party president and parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba made the nomination as per Article 13 (1) of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Statute.

Lekhak, a close confidant of Deuba, was elected to the House of Representatives in the November 20 election from the Kanchanpur-3 constituency.
