KATHMANDU: Four members of a family died when a landslide swept away their house in Khejinim of Phaktanglung Rural Muncipality-2 of Taplejung on Thursday night.
According to Bhupendra Chaulagain, ward chairperson of Phaktanglung-2, the victims have been identified as Ram Bahadur Limbu (69), his wife Jasmaya, and daughters Ganga and Jamuna.
Likewise, Yugen Limbu (40) and his three-year-old daughter have been injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, floods triggered by heavy rains since Wednesday night have washed away six bridges in the rural municipality.
