Lamichhane, Dr Wagle sworn in

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane and Dr Swarnim Wagle of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been sworn in as members of the House of Representatives.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire administered the oath of office and secrecy to the two who were elected in the by-election held on April 23. Speaker Ghimire also provided the two lawmakers with the parliament’s badge.

While Lamichhane was elected from Chitwan-2, Dr Wagle was elected from the Tanahun-1 constituency.

Upendra Yadav of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), who was elected from the Bara-2 constituency in the by-election, wast not present in the swearing in ceremony.
