ITAHARI: Koshi Province Assembly member and former Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Lilaballav Adhikari, has been arrested by police amid human trafficking allegations.
Adhikari will be transferred to Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon for investigation, a source at the Morang District Police Office confirmed.
He is accused of attempting to send three Nepali nationals to Japan using forged documents. The three were subsequently deported by Japanese immigration authorities.
