ITAHARI: Koshi Chief Minsiter Kedar Karki and provincial ministers have made public their property details.

Chief Minsiter Karki and ministers Shamsher Rai, Ganesh Prasad Upreti and Kamal Prasad Jabegu made public their property details on Wednesday.

Karki has seven residential plots in Budhiganta Rural Municipality and Biratnagar which is valued at Rs 15.69 million. Similarly, his family has 25 tolas of gold and 80 tolas of silver. Similarly, his wife has Rs 794,000 in bank deposits. Similarly, Karki and his family members own shares worth more than Rs 700,000 in different banks and companies. Karki has stated that he has borrowed around Rs 10 million from different banks. Likewise, his wife owns a scooter costing Rs 318,000.

Karki has started in his property statement that land plots in Biratnagar were purchased after selling other land plots.

Similarly, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Shamsher Rai, has stated in his property statement that he owns five land plots in Rong Rural Municipality-4 and 6 of Ilam. Likewise, he has 10 tolas of gold and Rs 62,000 in bank deposits and and Rs 150,000 worth of shares in Sahara Nepal Saving and Credit Cooperatiaves.

Likewise, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Minsiter Jabegu has five land plots in Panchthar and Jhapa districts. Likewise, he has 11 tolas of gold and 15 tolas of silver. Jabegu has stated in his property statement that he has Rs 100,000 in bank savings and owns 50 units of shares in Arun Kabeli Hydropower Power Ltd.

Minister for Forst, Tourism, and Environment Ganesh Upreti has two land plots in Morang and Sunsari districts. Likewise, he has 10 tolas of gold, 20 tolas of silver, and Rs 278,000 in bank deposits. Likewise, the Upreti family owns 1,450 units of shares in different companies. Minsiter Upreti has said that he owes Rs 3.95 million to different banks.
