ITAHARI: Koshi Chief Minister Kedar Karki has expanded his cabinet by inducting four ministers and two ministers of state.
Karki appointed two provincial assembly members each from the Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) as ministers, and two provincial assembly members of the Nepali Congress as ministers of state on Friday.
Pradip Kumar Sunuwar and Ram Kumar Khatri of the Nepali Congress have been appointed as Minister of Health and Minister for Agriculture and Cooperative Development, respectively. Likewise, Maoist Center’s Rajendra Karki and Narayan Magar have been appointed as Minister for Social Development and Minister for Water Supply, Irrigation, and Energy, respectively.
Similarly, Indira Thapa and Sunita Kumari Gurung of the Nepali Congress have been appointed as Ministers of State for Economic Affairs and Planning, and Minister of State for Internal Affairs and Law.
With these appointments, the size of the Koshi cabinet has reached.
