KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Office of the Municipal Executive has recommended action against its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Saroj Guragain.
The recommendation was made following allegations that Guragain approved the building design for the under-construction Kathmandu View Tower without adhering to necessary procedures.
KMC spokesperson Navin Manandhar stated that the office has urged the concerned authority to investigate Guragain and take appropriate action.
The construction of the Kathmandu View Tower, which began in 2017 at the Old Bus Park area in downtown Kathmandu, remains incomplete.
