Yamlal Kandel
SURKHET: CPN-UML has unanimously elected Yamlal Kandel as its parliamentary party leader in Karnali Province Assembly.
The meeting of the party’s Karnali Province Committee held in Surkhet on Wednesday elected Kandel unopposed. Kandel was elected to the Karnali Province Assembly from the Surkhet-2(A) constituency.
Kandel is also the standing committee member of CPN-UML, and the party’s Karnali Province In-charge.
Karnali Province Committee Chairperson Binod Kumar Shah, who was elected from Dailkeh-2(A), had also expressed interest to become the parliamentary leader. But he withdrew his bid in Kandel’s favor.
