KATHMANDU: Janamat Party has formed a three-member task force to hold talks for party unification.
According to the party, the task force will hold talks with different political parties for unification and creation of a front.
Rajesh Kumar Mandal, chief of the Jamanat Party’s central secretariat, said the task force is led by Narendra Psasad Chaudhary. He said the task force has been formed to pursue party unification and the creation of a front with parties that share similar political principles, ideas and goals.
According to Mandal, the Janamat Party has decided to take the initiative to form a “National Alternative Front” together with the Shram Sanskriti Party, Ujyaalo Nepal Party, and the Progressive Democratic Party Nepal, among others.
