IPL postponed due to India-Pak tensions

KATHMANDU: All remaining matches of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) have been suspended.

India’s cricket governing body, Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI), took the decision in the wake of the cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, according to popular cricket news portal ESPNCricInfo.

Thursday’s match between Punjab Super Kings and Delhi Capitals was abandoned midway through the first innings, citing technical reasons.

Twelve games, including the abandoned fixture between Punjab Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, were remaining to be played in the 2025 season.
