
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a discussion with Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, on the India-Pakistan tension on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the discussion focused on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam of Kashmir, India, and the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava briefed Prime Minister Oli on the steps taken by the Indian government against terrorism, stating that India had undertaken retaliatory actions. He expressed gratitude for the statement issued by the Nepali foreign ministry on Thursday regarding the India-Pakistan tensions.
In reply, Prime Minister Oli said Nepal is committed to global peace and reiterated the country’s firm stance against all forms of terrorist activities.
