KATHMANDU: India A will tour Nepal in December for a historic three-match T20 series against the Nepali national cricket team, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on Friday.
In a social media post, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said the matches will be played on December 9, 11 and 13 at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur.
Describing the series as “historic”, Khadka thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for making the tour possible.
“Cricket Association of Nepal extends its sincere gratitude to the BCCI and especially Secretary Devajit Saikia for his tremendous support towards the growth of Nepal cricket,” Khadka wrote. “We keep growing.”
The series is expected to provide Nepal with valuable exposure against one of the strongest developmental sides in world cricket while further strengthening cricketing ties between Nepal and India.
