KATHMANDU: The government has decided to build 1,0000 restrooms in urban areas and along major highways.
“One thousand restrooms will be built in urban areas, highways, and in places where the movement of passengers and tourists is high. These restrooms will be built under the private-community partnership,” President Ram Chandra Poudel said, presenting the government’s priorities and programs for the 2023/24 fiscal year on Friday.
Likewise, the government has said that all three tiers of government will implement cleanliness programs as a national campaign.
Similarly, the government has taken a policy of installing and expanding sewage treatment plants to prevent pollution in rivers and water sources.
