KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has approved the resignation of his chief political adviser, Haribol Gajurel.

Gajurel had tendered his resignation in the first week of December. While Gajurel stated that he stepped down due to personal reasons, many believe he resigned to contest the National Assembly election.

“I just learned from someone that my resignation has been approved. I don’t know anything more,” Gajurel said.

Meanwhile, Dahal is reported to have assigned the responsibility of Chief Political Adviser to Barsha Man Pun ‘Ananta’.
