KATHMANDU: Former minister and CPN-UML leader Pradip Nepal passed away on Tuesday. He was 72.
According to family sources, Nepal, who had been battling Parkinson’s disease for a long time, passed away at Norvic Hospital on Tuesday.
During his active political career, Nepal held ministerial portfolios like communication, water resources and education.
He had been inactive in politics for over a decade due to health reasons.
