Fly Nepa organizing month-long comedy tour in various US cities

KATHMANDU: A group of young comedians is set to embark on a month-long laughter-filled journey across the United States.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday, Fly Nepa, the event organizer, announced that the team will depart for the US after two weeks. “The team members will be showcasing their talent in over two dozen cities in the US. The tour will kick off with a performance in Virginia on January 5,” said Binod Adhikari, director of Fly Nepa.

Renowned comedians such as Sandeep Chhetri, Suman Karki, Bharat Mani Poudel, Meksam Gaudel, Kailash Karki, Saajan Shrestha, Suman Koirala, and Santosh Thapa are part of this entertaining expedition.

The team is set to perform in various US cities such as Maryland, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Akron, New York, Boston, New Hampshire, Colorado, Chicago, Michigan, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, among others, according to the organizers.

Speaking at the press conference, the comedians said they will deliver solo and group performances. Each show will be of two and a half hours.
