KATHMANDU: The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) was conducted peacefully across the country on the first day on Thursday, according to the National Examination Board (NEB).

“The examination of English subject was held in a dignified and peaceful manner. The examination began simultaneously at 2,064 examination centers across the country at 8 am,” said Nanda Lal Poudel, the SEE Examination Controller at the NEB.

A total of 250,772 students from 10,806 community and institutional schools are participating in the examination.

According to Poudel, students securing less than 35% marks won’t be able to be admitted to Class 11 and must sit in a supplementary examination.
