Ambassador of Pakistan Mohammad Mohammad Aamir Khan presents his letters of credence to President Ram Chandra Paudel on Wednesday.
KATHMANDU: The newly appointed ambassadors of five countries to Nepal presented their credentials to President Ramchandra Paudel on Wednesday.
The ambassadors presented their credentials during separate ceremonies held at the Office of the President.
According to the Office of the President, the ambassador of Thailand Doonawit Poolsawat, the ambassador of Brazil Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins, the ambassador of Pakistan Mohammad Amir Khan, the ambassador of France François Puig-Inza and the ambassador of South Korea Park Jae-kyung presented their letters of credence o President Paudel on Wednesday.
Senior government officials were also present at the ceremonies, Krishna Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson for the Office of the President, said in a statement.
The newly appointed ambassadors were escorted to the Office of the President in ceremonial horse-drawn carriages from Lazimpat.
