KATHMANDU: Floods and landslides triggered by continuous rainfall have continued to disrupt transportation across the country. According to Nepal Police, eight highways and roads currently remain obstructed at different places.

The latest update released by the Nepal Police on Wednesday morning states that highways have been obstructed at various locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The affected roads include the Mechi Highway in Ilam; the BP Highway in Sindhuli and Kavrepalanchok; the Araniko Highway in Sindhupalchok; the Kanti Lokpath in Makwanpur; the Kaligandaki Corridor in Baglung; the Arughat–Machhikhola road in Gorkha; and the Bheri Corridor (Jajarkot–Dolpa road) in Jajarkot.

Police have urged people to check the latest road conditions before traveling.
