KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has urged the public not to be misled by recent comments and misinformation circulating about the institution.
Clarifying that it has been regularly sharing its positions and activities through press releases, press notes and official social media channels, the army requested people not to believe unverified news.
Issuing a statement on Friday, the army said people can coordinate with the Directorate of Public Relations and Information, as well as its divisional headquarters at the local level, if they need any information.
The army’s statement has come amid rumors that it was maneuvering in government formation under the pretext of facilitating the process.
