KATHMANDU: Devotees have been lining up since early Monday morning to visit the Pashupatinath Temple on the occasion of Haritalika Teej festival.
All four doors of the Pashupatinath Temple were opened from 3 a.m. to facilitate women observing the Teej fast, according to the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).
Four separate routes have been arranged for devotees entering the temple.
As many as 4,000 security personnel and 855 volunteers from 24 religious and social organizations have been deployed in the Pashupati area for the Teej festival, the PADT said.
