KATHMANDU: The Krishna Temple in Patan has been seeing a huge crowd since Friday morning as devotees gather to worship Lord Krishna on Krishna Janmashtami.
Hindu followers celebrate the day as the birthday of Lord Krishna.
The iconic temple in Patan draws a huge footfall of devotees on this auspicious day.
The temple management committee has managed separate queues for men and women. Similarly, a health desk and water counters have also been arranged on the temple premises for the devotees.
The 17th-century Shikhara-style temple, which was built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla in 1637 AD, is one of the major attractions in Patan Durbar Square – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
