KATHMANDU: Deepak Raj Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the NTB held in Kathmandu on Thursday picked Joshi to head the country’s national tourism organization for four years.
A selection committee formed by the tourism ministry had shortlisted three names from 20 applicants. Former CEO Dr Dhananjay Regmi and Gyaneshwar Mahato were the other shortlisted candidates.
The position had been lying vacant since Regmi completed his term in December 2023. Joshi earlier served as the CEO of NTB from 2015 to 2019.
